Department of Revenue (DOR) - Every year DOR prepares a report that lists city, village, town and county expenditures and revenues. The County and Municipal Revenues and Expenditures Report is posted on DOR’s website under Reports, Expenditures.
The Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance publishes a MunicipalFacts book every 2 years. MunicipalFacts compares per capita expenditures in many spending categories for 229 Wisconsin cities and villages between 2,000 and 150,000 population.
