New in 2021! We are adding a Chief Executives Winter Workshop on Thursday, February 25 from 1:00PM to 4:30PM. Join your peers from across the state for an afternoon of workshops.
1:00PM – 2:00PM Crisis Leadership; a local perspective
Moderated by Eric Giordano, Ph.D., Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS)

Social unrest, protests and mob violence are almost always an unexpected challenge. Hear from two local leaders what they learned…the hard way…about managing during these times of crisis.

Mayor Mike Palm, will discuss Baraboo’s recent adoption of a Local Vehicle Registration Fee and a Street Light Fee. Finance Director Max Gagin will discuss Janesville’s interest in adopting a Transportation Utility Fee.

2020 Chief Executives Summer Workshop

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. each day
The 2020 Chief Executives Workshop will be held in your office this year. Due to the pandemic, the League’s annual municipal leadership event will be held virtually.
Each day’s workshop will consist of a guest presenter or moderated panel discussion followed by a question and answer period with the speaker or panel, which will then lead into an open-ended round-table discussion.
