Yes. Previously, requests for Customer Information were subject to Wisconsin’s Open Records Law, and such information could not be withheld from disclosure in most circumstances. On July 7, 2013, the new Municipal Utility Customer Privacy Law, 2013 Wis. Act 25, went into effect.
