R2 Two-Family Residence District, Permitted Uses - City of Rhinelander
All existing ordinances, codes or portions thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and more specifically, Section 19.09(l) is amended as follows:
19.09 R2 TWO-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT. (1) PERMITTED USES. The following uses are permitted in the R2 District.
(a) Single-family detached dwellings.
(b) Two-family dwellings.
(c)Family daycare homes for not more than eight (8) children.
(d) Agriculture, but not including the keeping or raising of poultry, pigeons, goats, sheep, swine, rabbits or fur-bearing animals.
(e) Cemeteries.
(f) Educational (non-boarding) and cultural institutions, as follows:
1. Elementary schools.
2. Junior or senior high schools.
3. Public libraries and public art galleries.
4. Public museums (including aquariums and planetariums).
(g) Recreational and social facilities, as follows:
1. Athletic fields, non-commercial.
2. Golf courses, but not golf driving ranges, pitch and putt, or miniature golf courses.
3. Grounds of recreational clubs, non-commercial.
4. Parks and playgrounds.
5. Recreational buildings and community centers, non-commercial.
6. Swimming pools, non-commercial.
7. Tennis clubs and courts.
(h) Religious institutions, as follows:
1. Churches, chapels, temples and synagogues.
2. Convents, seminaries, monasteries and nunneries.
3. Rectories, parsonages and parish houses.
4. Religious retreats.
(i) Accessory uses and buildings incidental to and on the same zoning lot as a principal use, as follows:
1. Agricultural buildings and structures.
2. Athletic fields and playgrounds.
3. Boathouses, private.
4. Club houses and other structures on the grounds of private clubs, golf courses, polo and tennis clubs.
5. Fallout shelters, as regulated herein.
6. Garages and carports.
7. Guest houses, private.
8. Home occupations.
9. Living quarters, detached. For persons employed on the premises if occupied only by such persons and their immediate family.
10. Signs, as regulated herein.
11. Stadiums and grandstands in athletic fields.
12. Storage of building materials and equipment and temporary buildings for construction purposes, for a period not to exceed the duration of such construction.
13. Swimming pools and tennis courts, private.
14. Tool houses, sheds, and other similar buildings for the storage of domestic supplies.
