Get in the Raffle: Back for the second year is the popular vendor raffle! Opt in and include a prize of $10.00 or less with your company’s info attached. We will ask those with booth reservations in the June program survey if you want to participate and vendors then drop of the prize at the registration desk during set up the 24th. These prizes will be collected in three different prize baskets and raffled off at the close of the exhibit hall (5:45PM Wednesday). Exhibitors will be given the raffle tickets to pass along to attendees who stop to visit their booths; the only way attendees can get in the raffle is to get those tickets from you! We will not be doing individual vendor drawings at the end of the exhibit hall, but you are free to conduct individual raffles at your own booth. We will not be announcing winners other than those who win one of the three multi-vendor prize baskets.
Get in the Conference Program Guide:
The conference program is a valuable advertising tool as well as a helpful aid for our members to contact vendors after the conference. The contact listed for the booth reservation will get a form in June to collect your company’s program information.
Sponsor: You can strategically position your company or organization by sponsoring the League's Annual conference at the Gold or Silver Level or choose an Exclusive Sponsorship of one of the workshops, speakers or breaks. Sponsors stand out with the vendor’s logo added in the conference program, in the exhibition hall with special signage, and through special recognition and thanks from the League’s Executive Director. You may reserve a sponsorship while registering on the online booth space reservation form, or you may contact Robin Powers to check availability of sponsorships.
Present: Have something to contribute to the challenges our municipalities face? Submit a Presenter Proposal for consideration of inclusion in the Annual Conference. Proposals are due by May 15th, 2018 and are subject to screening by the program committee for relevance, real-life support and objectivity. Partnering with the League as presenter brings special recognition and as such there is no additional speaker compensation or fee. We welcome your enthusiasm and expertise for conference workshops, but no proposal is guaranteed acceptance. Submit a proposal here or Contact Lori Matthews with questions.
Propose a Vendor Solution Session: New this year, we're offering two vendors the opportunity to conduct workshops within the regular conference track--a morning session for 75 minutes or an after-lunch session for 60 minutes. The opportunity to conduct a Vendor Solution Session is $4,000. Securing the right to conduct these workshops requires a strong proposal, demonstrating how your services or products solve a problem or eliminate a challenge faced by Wisconsin municipalities. Unlike the regular workshops, Vendor Solution Sessions can be completely devoted your business' ability to serve municipalities--the equivalent of a workshop that should demonstrate solutions provided by your business. These sessions present a unique opportunity to put your best foot forward for an audience attending because they are specifically interested in what you are offering. Special recognition for these sessions will be given in the conference program, carrying a company logo in addition to a description of the session. Being chosen for a Vendor Solution Session also comes with a complimentary quarter page advertisement in the September issue of the Municipality for the promotion of the session. The vendor will supply the ad. Please note each workshop time slot has five sessions being conducted concurrently (one Vendor Solutions Session and four other "regular" workshops). The League cannot guarantee an audience interested in your topic, and we encourage you to market the session for best results. Submit a Vendor Solution Session proposal here or Contact Robin Powers with questions.
