General Speaker Proposal Form

    Please indicate which conference or workshop you are submitting a proposal for or if you do not have a preference.

  2. (6 Words or less. Descriptive, topic title.)

  3. (Should be a paragraph in length. Approximately 75 words. What problem or problems will your presentation cover, and what solutions or advice will you present to address the problems?”

  4. An LCD projector, laptop, wireless laviliere microphone, AV cart and screen plus a speaker table will be available to you for site events. Zoom links and a preparation session will be provided for Web events.

  5. Please initial above that you understand the following expectations for conference presenters: 1) We have a number of members who have hearing difficulty, and we require that you use a microphone. 2) Our members do not like PowerPoint slides with too much, small text; they also critique poorly speakers who read presentations from slides. Please use slides sparingly and appropriately.

  6. PowerPoint/Handouts - Note: Attendees expect presentations to be posted to our website prior to the conference. Please provide us with your presentation so that we can post it. *

    Our conference audiences respond especially well to presentations that include municipal staff and/or officials speaking from personal experience. Is this speaker a municipal staff and/or official who would be willing to be part of your presentation?
